The reader’s questions

CLARITY FOR PLAYERS AND TEAMS

Practical answers without promises of discovery, placement or guaranteed progress.

Does a high rank guarantee a trial?

No. Rank is one signal. Teams also assess role needs, evidence quality, communication, availability and eligibility. Read the scouting guide for a contextual approach.

What belongs in a first player profile?

Include your competitive handle, game, region, current role, dated results, source links, useful recordings and a suitable contact route. Avoid sensitive personal information. The player-record anatomy provides a starting structure.

Are highlights enough?

Highlights can introduce your play, but complete matches and timestamped explanations give reviewers more context. Include examples of decision-making and adjustment, not only successful mechanical plays.

Should I pay for recruitment visibility?

Only consider a paid feature after understanding exactly what it provides, its renewal terms and its limitations. Payment does not guarantee team interest. Compare the product’s function with your actual need using the platform guide.

How do I check a trial invitation?

Verify the person through an independent official organisation contact. Confirm objectives, schedule and practical terms before sharing sensitive information. Never share account recovery codes or credentials.

Can I publish private scrim recordings?

Do not assume you can. Check team permission, recording agreements, event rules and privacy obligations before sharing. Permission to participate is not automatically permission to publish another person’s voice or tactics.

What if I am below the relevant competition age?

Do not misstate your age. Check the current rules and involve a parent, guardian or appropriate trusted adult in unfamiliar commitments. Game age ratings and competition eligibility are different questions.

Can Showpebblewhirl introduce me to a team?

No. This is an independent information resource, not an agency, recruitment platform or application service. We do not operate listings, accept player applications or arrange trials.

Does the contact worksheet send my message?

No. It prepares a plain-text review in your browser. You can copy it or download a text file, then decide whether to email it yourself. Nothing is sent by the worksheet.

How should I report a factual error?

Use the contact worksheet or email [email protected]. Include the page, the statement and an authoritative source where possible. Do not include private player records or account credentials.
