YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
This resource is designed to be read without creating an account or submitting a player record.
Who is responsible
Showpebblewhirl Research Ltd, 22 St Paul's Street, Leeds, LS1 2LE, UK, company registration number 15938624, is responsible for personal information it receives in connection with this resource. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.
Information handled by the page
The contact worksheet processes the details you type in your browser to generate plain text. It does not submit them to a server, store them in localStorage or send an email. Reloading or leaving the page clears the draft from the page’s memory, although your browser may provide its own form-restoration features.
Copying places the generated text on your device’s clipboard. Downloading creates a text file on your device. You control those copies and should delete them when no longer needed. If you separately email us, we receive the content, your email address and ordinary message metadata.
Preferences and technical requests
The supplied site code stores a cookie preference in localStorage when you choose one. This value is held in your browser and is not transmitted by the preference tool. See Cookies and browser storage for the key and controls.
Ordinary page delivery necessarily exposes technical request information, such as an IP address and browser headers, to the hosting infrastructure. Infrastructure providers may maintain security and operational logs under their applicable configuration and terms. The site’s supplied scripts do not add analytics, advertising trackers, session recording or third-party embedded media.
Why correspondence is used
If you contact us, we use the information to understand and respond to your enquiry, assess corrections, maintain appropriate correspondence records and protect the resource against misuse. The usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving an independent information resource and responding to relevant messages. Legal obligations may require some records to be retained.
We do not use reader messages to create player rankings or recruitment profiles, and we do not sell personal information. Service providers involved in hosting or email may process information as necessary to provide those services. Data may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights.
Retention, security and transfers
Keep messages limited to what is relevant. Correspondence should be retained only for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet legitimate recordkeeping or legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised. Retention depends on the nature of the matter rather than a single period for every message.
No online system offers absolute security. Avoid sending account credentials, identity documents or private team recordings. If providers process information outside the UK, applicable transfer rules and safeguards must be considered; this notice does not claim that all infrastructure is located in the UK.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing and receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email us with enough information to locate the relevant correspondence. We may need proportionate identity verification. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. External websites have their own privacy notices; following a link leaves this resource.
Younger readers and changes
We do not request children’s player profiles or operate accounts. Younger readers should involve a parent or guardian before sharing personal information in unfamiliar recruitment settings. This notice may be updated as the website’s actual features change; review it before using a new feature.
